The GPLUs function within both Canberra Hospital and Calvary Hospital to improve communication between GPs and the Public Hospitals. We are also the point of contact for GPs negotiating the Public Hospital systems. We represent GPs needs and interact with all departments of the hospitals.
Contact us for help with discharge information, clinical information, queries about services, concerns about patient care or any other issue you may have. Both hospitals have a part-time GP advisor, a full-time GP Liaison Officer and TCH has a clinical support nurse and administrative assistant.
