| Position description |
The NiGP Project Officer will work closely with and be supported by the Program Director and Practice Support Team to maintain a well established program that aims to build the capacity of the nursing workforce within general practice. The NiGP Program provides practice nurses with education and support, supports general practices to recruit and retain suitably qualified nurses and promotes the role of practice nurses to others in the community and within the health professions. |

ACT Medicare Local (ACTML) is an independent not for profit organisation, representing general practice and other primary health care providers in the ACT. ACTML was established in 2011 to provide support to primary health care clinicians and service providers to deliver best practice care for improved patient health outcomes. It is a coordinating body for primary health care services, connecting local health services to meet local health needs. |

Negotiable - from 22.8 hours a week to the end June 2012 |
| Salary Range |
$33.55 to $35.71 per hour depending on skills and experience, plus 9% superannuation and generous salary sacrificing options |
