We are looking for a VR GP to join the Practice to service a diverse patient base. |
| Practice description |
Jerrabomberra Medical Centre is an established and accredited general practice. We are fully computerised and have private billing with excellent earning potential. We have a registered nurse, two physiotherapists, 2 psychologists, a podiatrist, a diabetic educator, practice manager and experienced friendly support staff. There is pathology and a pharmacy located next door. There is free parking available for staff and patients.
We are located close to both the Queanbeyan Hospital and Canberra Hospital and can have great access to specialists and imaging venues.
Although our address is NSW we sit on the border between Queanbeyan and Canberra. We are a modern surgery and cater for a population of over 12,000 in Jerrabomberra. Our surgery also provides medical care for people located in Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounding areas.
Our location makes it easy to go down to the south coast for a weekend, Bateman’s Bay is only one & half hours drive or to get to Sydney will take you less than 3 hours. In Winter it is easy to go skiing for the weekend at the Snowy Mountains which are located only 2 hours away.
We are located in a District of Workforce Shortage.
Canberra International and Domestic Airport is 20 minutes from Jerrabomberra Medical Centre.
As we are on the border of Canberra there are plenty of sporting facilities and cultural activities to participate in. Canberra, the Nation’s Capital, has numerous local attractions including; The National Museum, War Memorial, Questacon and the National Film and Sound Archive. Jerrabomberra is only a 20 minute drive to three shopping centres, including the Canberra City. A Direct Factory Outlet shopping centre has recently opened 15 minutes away.
Canberra offers high quality education facilities for all ages including two universities, multiple primary and secondary schools. There is a range of public and private schools to choose from.
On the weekends it is easy to visit national parks, wineries and restaurants. |
