| Position description |
Due to the growth of our practice, we require an experienced practice nurse to join our team for 3 to 4 days per week. You will be an integral part of the team working with other practice nurses and doctors to ensure a professional clinical environment, team coordination and efficient management of patient treatment, focusing on patient care. Duties will include: - Health assessments - Wound care and management - Immunisations - INR and BSL checks - ECG's - Triage of patients - Child health checks - Spirometry - Minor surgical procedures |
| Practice description |
The practice has been open since 1957, we currently have 16 doctors, 6 nurses and a team of over 15 adminsitration staff. Our clincial area is large and caters for all types of general practice medicine with 5 treatment beds, theatre, immunisation area, INR - BSL and other general checks area as well as we have two rooms utilisied for health assessments undertaken by nurses. |

Yes, we currently have 6 nurses on staff, who vary between full and part time. We have various allied health professional's visit and undertake services here within our clinic, some of which work closely with the nurses. |
