This event is for:

  • GPs
  • Practice Nurses
  • Practice Staff
  • Allied Health Professionals

Presented by Parasol EMT.

This course is nationally recognised and conforms to Australian Resuscitation Council Policy Statement 9.1.1. It is recommended that this course be updated annually, and GPs must complete a basic CPR course this 2011- 2013 triennium as a RACGP program requirement. 5 Cat 2 CPD points apply. 10 x ACRRM Basic Life Support apply.

Course content

  • Responds to signs of an unconscious casualty 
  • Performs CPR 
  • Communicate details of the accident
Assessment method
Progressive assessment of competency. A short multiple choice theoretical assessment will be given at the end of the course.
Cost
$75 per person.
Practices and individuals will be invoiced on completion of training.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Book early to avoid disappointment - a waiting list will apply.
