This free workshop is open to Practice Nurses of GP supervisors from accredited training practices, presented by ACT Medicare Local and CoastCityCountry Training.

A small group of local practice nurses have been involved in an exciting pilot project aimed at realising the potential of practice nurses as teachers of GP registrars. This fun, interactive workshop by Dr Rashmi Sharma and Jenny Permezel, RN, will provide:

An understanding of how to use teaching support modules - immunisation, wound management, practice standards, chronic disease management
An understanding of teaching in a private practice setting
