Domestic Violence Response Training

General Practices and other health services have been identified through research as organisations that have the opportunity to identify and support people who have experienced domestic and family violence.

The training is delivered by Lifeline. Participants are not expected to be counsellors, but they do need to be able to identify family violence and refer their patients to specialist family violence services for ongoing support.

Gain 15 CNE points & valuable knowledge, confidence and experience in how to respond and where to refer families experiencing domestic & family violence. Obtain a nationally recognised Statement of attainment for the Unit of competency, CHCDFV301A. Network with other health workers from your region.
