What is the Practice Support Program?
Practice Support offers a variety of support to all general practices in the ACT. The Canberra Region has been divided into three geographic areas, each with an individual Practice Support Officer, who will be responsible for ensuring that practices within their area receive all of the support necessary to ensure primary care outcomes.
What does the Practice Support Program do?
Provides support in the following areas:
- Accreditation
- MBS Items
- Clinical Software (basic training, template assistance, etc.)
- Practice Software
- Human Resources and Workforce
What has the Practice Support Program achieved?
- Continued support to General Practices in the ACT
- Establishment, and maintenance of the Practice Managers Network and the Practice Owners and Principals (POP) Group
